Additional Information:
This role provides coverage for PTO, unexpected absences, and requires weekend rotations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient identity and orders while preparing patients for imaging procedures.
- Maintain sensitivity to patient needs throughout the imaging process.

Clearly explain the procedure to patients and their families to ensure understanding and alleviate anxiety.

Address any concerns raised by patients.
- Conduct radiologic examinations that yield high-quality images while ensuring the safety of both patients and staff.

This is achieved by adhering to established protocols, positioning patients correctly, utilizing equipment effectively, and following radiation safety guidelines.

Apply sterile techniques during invasive procedures.
- Identify urgent patient situations and respond swiftly and appropriately.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including timestamps and image storage.
- Coordinate patient care and relay essential information to other healthcare providers post-procedure.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff, ensuring supplies and equipment are stored efficiently.
- Pursue opportunities for professional development and education, particularly in new technologies and procedures.
- Assist and mentor students and fellow Radiology Technologists in protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment usage as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- ARRT registration.
- Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice (if applicable).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers.

May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform MA functions as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:
- IV certification.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to carry, hear, lift, demonstrate manual dexterity, push/pull, see, speak, stand, and walk.
