Position Overview

The Student Ministry Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Student Pastor at Rocky Mountain Christian Church's Frederick campus by handling various administrative responsibilities essential for the effective operation of the Student Ministry. This is a part-time role with a schedule coordinated with the Student Pastor.

Key Responsibilities:Quarterly/Semester Tasks:
  • Assist the Student Pastor in organizing and preparing for significant student events such as kick-offs, holiday celebrations, and end-of-year activities.
  • Procure necessary resources for students and leaders.
Monthly/Bimonthly Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and maintenance of a vibrant volunteer culture.
  • Help plan and prepare refreshments for Wednesday night gatherings.
Weekly Duties:
  • Participate in and assist with weekly programming on Wednesday evenings.
  • Collaborate on communications to be distributed by the Student Pastor.
  • Reserve spaces and resources for student-related events.
  • Encourage and support the Influencer Team.
  • Lead weekly meetings for the Influencer Team and provide support to students.
  • Manage social media content and scheduling.
  • Oversee the production of weekly YouTube videos from live streams.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and proficient organizational capabilities, with a knack for multitasking and managing various projects while ensuring accuracy and excellence.
  • Natural aptitude for connecting with others, leadership, and organizational tasks.
  • Must be a member (or willing to become one) of Rocky Mountain Christian Church and embrace its Statement of Faith and Staff Values.
