Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL delivery driver to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering materials to customer sites in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive delivery vehicles and/or operate truck-trailer combinations to transport and deliver materials to customer sites.
  • Adhere to driver safety/compliance regulations and deliver undamaged goods on schedule.
  • Provide professional service to customers and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Load and secure product, materials, or supplies inside delivery vehicles.
  • Verify order details and maintain logs of delivery duties.
  • Act as a customer service liaison between the company and the site customer.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles.
  • Perform routine safety checks to ensure vehicles comply with company guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license, and a Class A CDL license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience, 2 years of CDL driving experience strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, Class A CDL license, and pass MVR report.
  • Obtain a DOT medical card and have basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language.
Work Environment

The physical demands of this job include working in a production environment with temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels, and dust. You must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently and on occasion may be required to lift and carry, with assistance, up to 200 pounds.
