Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
  • Strip and remake beds, changing linens which may involve lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Dust and polish all furniture, artwork, drawers, window sills, and shelves meticulously.
  • Utilize a vacuum cleaner throughout the room and manage waste disposal.
  • Restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest accommodations.
  • Manage room keys, transport them to assigned rooms, and ensure heavy carts are restocked. Conduct visual inspections of rooms for cleanliness and overall appearance.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Capability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 200 lbs.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 40 lbs.
  • Proficiency in scrubbing and cleaning surfaces, reaching overhead for cleaning tasks, and working in limited spaces.
  • Effective communication skills with both colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain a thorough cleaning standard for a minimum of 14 rooms as directed by management.
  • Basic understanding of the English language sufficient to comprehend labels, instructions, and guest requests.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
