Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments to identify the needs of offenders.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans to address the unique needs of each offender.
  • Provide evidence-based treatments and interventions to promote positive behavioral change and improve mental health outcomes.
  • Document treatment and evaluation activities in a thorough and accurate manner to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict standards of professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for offenders.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a comparable role.
  • Appropriate certification or licensure in the state where practice occurs (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
  • A valid driver's license is preferred, unless required by contract or applicable statute.
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
