Job Title: PT Sales Associate Cashier

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a part-time Sales Associate Cashier to join our team. As a Sales Associate Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards for cleanliness and safety.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Requirements:
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
