Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate Cashier to join our team at our Wynantskill store. As a Sales Associate Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Hannaford's products and services.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
