At Ecobat, we are seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic Grade 3 to join our team. As a Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on mobile equipment, including loaders, trailers, cranes, and forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Repair gasoline and diesel engines, as well as perform preventive maintenance on all mobile equipment.
- Inspect, lubricate, paint, restore, and clean mobile equipment to maintain its condition.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by complying with environmental, health, and safety programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of engines, brakes, and other mechanical parts of industrial mobile equipment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
- Able to operate mobile equipment and possess a valid driver's license.
- Able to work any shift and have at least 1 year of experience as a Mobile Mechanic 2.
- Environmental training applicable to the job.
- Safety training for applicable equipment.
- Job instructional training to ensure proficiency in mobile equipment maintenance.
- ISO 9001 familiarization and ISO 14001 awareness, objectives, and targets.
The Mobile Mechanic Grade 3 will be required to stand and walk regularly, use hands to handle objects, and reach with hands and arms frequently. The employee may occasionally be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
The employee will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, work near moving mechanical parts, and be exposed to extreme heat. The employee may occasionally work in high precarious places and in outside weather conditions.
