Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A Driver to join our team at ReedNET Support. As a Spreader Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a tank-mounted straight truck while pulling a trailer, spreading asphalt products, and performing daily inspections and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure hand tools are loaded and tar paper is in place.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the truck is clean, lubrication is current, and check for oil leaks and brake adjustments.
  • Verify equipment is in good condition to perform duties.
  • Ensure adequate fuel levels in the truck by filling tanks the previous evening.
  • Maintain Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) as required by law.
  • Maintain proper fuel levels in equipment and tire pressure.
  • Collect and submit time records in a timely manner.
  • Have thorough knowledge of all paperwork requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external drivers and customers.
  • Hold a CDL license with Tanker & HazMat endorsement.
  • Be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects using organizational skills and communication skills.
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to company goals.
  • Be capable of functioning under fast-paced, stressful working conditions.
  • Prior pavement preservation experience is beneficial.
  • Hold a valid Class A driver's license in good standing.
Compensation

$32.00-$35.00/Hr D.O.E.
