Soldering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Soldering Specialist to join our team at Pro-Tech Staffing Services. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day rework of modules while ensuring that quality and safety standards are met.

• As a Soldering Specialist, you will use specialized equipment to solder components together, making precise welds to connect wire to wire and wire to soldering pad.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that the soldering process is carried out correctly and that the finished product meets quality standards.

• Perform 5S in your respective area to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate production information to oncoming shifts to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain soldering and workstation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair cell strings and modules with precision and attention to detail.
• Verify temperatures of workstations and soldering irons using test equipment.
• Verify the quality of soldering using imaging and electrical testing.
• Assemble circuits requiring fine hand assembly with accuracy and speed.
• Verify cell grade, manufacturer, color series by correctly reading labels.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• You must have the ability to read and understand technical documents, manuals, and instructions.
• You should be able to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlines.
• You must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members.
• You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A minimum of one year of soldering experience is preferred.

• This is a 12-hour shift position with rotating schedules.
• You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
