Travel Registered Nurse RN Ambulatory Care Specialist

At Emory Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse RN Ambulatory Care to join our team. As a WOCN RN, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical guidance to physicians and nursing staff regarding the management of complex wounds, fistulas, moisture management, and pressure ulcers.
Responsibilities:- Directs agency-wide initiatives for pressure ulcer prevention, wound care, and ostomy care.
- Develops and conducts educational programs and clinical instruction for Emory Healthcare staff and students.
- Provides advanced clinical guidance to physicians and nursing staff.
- Determines appropriate nursing interventions for identified patient problems, symptoms, and teaching needs.
- Recommends equipment, materials, and resources needed to implement a wound or ostomy care plan.
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
- Two years of recent (within the past five years) Registered Nursing experience.
- Completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education program.
- Must achieve certification in Wound Care and Ostomy Care within 12 months.
