Breast Surgical Oncology Specialist

Practice Focus:
Engage in a dedicated Breast Surgical Oncology practice, with a clinical distribution of 80% patient care and 20% administrative duties, including research and teaching.
Compensation:
Competitive salary within the 75th percentile of MGMA, with assistant professor positions ranging from $390,000 to $400,000, depending on experience and rank.
Clinical Schedule:
Flexible clinical sessions of 3 to 5 days per week, tailored to patient volumes. Enjoy a blocked operating day each week, with opportunities to perform surgeries on additional days as needed. No on-call responsibilities required.
Team Composition:
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including a Breast Surgeon, Plastic Surgeon, Medical Oncologist, Nurse Practitioners, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists.
Patient Care:
Manage approximately 30% of all newly diagnosed breast cancer patients in the region, with full access to advanced diagnostic tools such as mammography, ultrasound, CT, and radiation therapy.
Collaboration:
Participate in monthly tumor board meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
Completion of a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship is mandatory.
