Job Title: Clinical Therapist

StrongMinds America is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for implementing, coordinating, and expanding our depression/anxiety education, screening, and treatment program.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, organize, and deliver depression/anxiety treatment in coordination with allied organizations.
  • Facilitate group counseling sessions utilizing the Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT-G) model, including prescreening, intake, and post-therapy assessment.
  • Conduct brief individual counseling as needed.
  • Serve as Clinical Lead to assigned community-based organizations and agencies.
  • Provide accurate, professionally written clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and policies.
  • Assess, diagnose, and identify underlying trauma or other serious mental health issues and provide necessary information and referrals.
  • Develop relationships with local agencies and resources to facilitate referrals.
  • Provide psychoeducation to youth, caregivers, and partner-agency staff.
  • Serve as liaison to community-based organizations and agencies and participate in community-outreach events.
Qualifications:
  • Candidate must have a current NJ-LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSW.
  • 2+ years of clinical experience working with BIPOC youth and women.
  • Experience in group modality.
  • Programmatic experience working alongside and empowering vulnerable populations.
  • Strong cultural competency.
  • Must be flexible in scheduling appointments.
Compensation:

This is a full-time position with a starting salary range based on experience of $65,000-75,000 per year, plus benefits and clinical training.
