Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Albuquerque. As a skilled healthcare professional, you will provide exceptional care and support to patients with complex mental health issues.

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Albuquerque is a 48-bed licensed, acute care behavioral hospital that provides a safe and nurturing environment for the treatment of complex mental health issues. Our innovative, customized treatment strategies offer relief from debilitating symptoms of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and schizophrenia.

Responsibilities
  • Assess Patient Needs: Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient risk factors and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Crisis Intervention: Intervene effectively in behavioral crisis situations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with Treatment Team: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Patient Education: Provide comprehensive education and support to help patients manage their mental health conditions.
  • Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians: Lead and mentor staff members to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Nursing Degree: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience: Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of one year in acute psychiatric care.
