About the Role

Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, is seeking a skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, we offer a wide range of medical services, including emergency care, surgical services, and diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists with invasive procedures, utilizing Special Procedures radiographic equipment and patient monitoring devices.
  • Monitor vital signs for patients requiring conscious sedation within the department.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and database to track outcomes and quality of care.
  • Perform general diagnostic work as required.
Requirements
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Special Procedures Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology or an Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Proficiency in supporting different physicians with Cardiac Pacemaker Implants and Interventional Body and Vascular procedures.
  • Current CPR certification.
Work Schedule

PRN, Day Shifts. Call varies based on patient needs. Call rotations are for 1 full week.

Compensation

Minimum $51.00 per hour - Maximum $51.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
