Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PRN Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology department, you will play a critical role in assisting radiologists with invasive procedures, utilizing advanced radiographic equipment and patient monitoring devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists with all invasive procedures, including the use of Special Procedures radiographic equipment and patient monitoring devices.
  • Monitor vital signs for patients requiring conscious sedation within the department.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and databases to track outcomes and quality of care.
  • Perform general diagnostic work as required.
Requirements
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Special Procedures Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology or an Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Proficiency in supporting different physicians with Cardiac Pacemaker Implants and all Interventional Body and Vascular procedures.
  • Current CPR certification.
Work Environment

This is a PRN, day shift position with varying call schedules based on patient needs. Call rotations are for 1 full week.

Compensation

Salary range: $51.00 per hour - $51.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
