Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team at Deployed Resources. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including brakes, suspension, lights, and tires.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gasoline engines.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and share knowledge and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to ensure our equipment remains at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3-5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully diagnosing and repairing complex equipment issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including workshops, facilities, and field locations. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Travel Requirements

This position requires up to 90% travel, with the ability to work in a variety of locations and environments. You will be required to travel to job sites and be away from home for extended periods of time, with short notice travel possible.
