We are in search of a talented and experienced Bankruptcy Associate to become a vital member of our esteemed legal team. As a Bankruptcy Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive legal counsel and representation to our clients involved in bankruptcy matters. This position demands a thorough understanding of bankruptcy legislation, exceptional negotiation capabilities, and proficiency in drafting and negotiating corporate restructuring agreements. You will represent both debtors and creditors, necessitating strong oral and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to clients throughout bankruptcy proceedings, encompassing both individuals and corporations.
- Draft and negotiate corporate restructuring agreements to safeguard client interests.
- Counsel clients on the legal nuances of bankruptcy, including filing procedures, various bankruptcy types, and their potential consequences.
- Advocate for both debtors and creditors, ensuring their rights and interests are upheld during the bankruptcy process.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues to guide case strategies.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients.
- Present evidence to defend clients or pursue claims in bankruptcy litigation.
- Collaborate with our legal team to formulate effective strategies and arguments in preparation for court appearances.
Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law institution.
- Admission to the Texas Bar.
- 2-5 years of experience in bankruptcy law.
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating corporate restructuring agreements.
- Demonstrated experience representing both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex legal arguments effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on favorable dispute resolution for clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
