Salary Range: $95,000 - $140,000 per annum
Job Description
We're seeking an experienced and highly effective attorney to join our team as a key contributor in our Immigration and Family Law department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully handling complex cases, developing strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth and success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively handle all aspects of a client's case, including communicating with parties, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for and attending hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Establish positive and collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues, and the courts.
- Effectively apply legal solutions to clients' issues and clearly communicate options to clients.
- Research and analyze case law, draft correspondence, and prepare pleadings and other court documents.
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials, advocating for their interests and securing favorable outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A J.D. or Foreign law degree + LLM from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice law in Washington State.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex legal concepts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
