Job Summary

Barry University School of Law is seeking a part-time, temporary student position to assist in bar preparation efforts. The ideal candidate will work up to 20 hours per week, supporting the CLASP Department in various areas, including the Barry MPRE Program, the Barry Bar Mentor Program, and the Bar Application Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Bar Data Collection & Assessment and CLASP Counselor to provide information related to bar applications and the MPRE, including workshops, small group sessions, and individual meetings with students.
  • Assist in setting up and proctoring mock exams for the MPRE and bar exam.
  • Support students with bar applications and registration for the MPRE.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks, such as making copies, distributing materials, collecting information, and disseminating opportunities and workshops offered by CLASP.
  • Perform other related functions as necessary to facilitate the various programs and workshops offered by CLASP and Barry Law School.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled at the Barry University School of Law in good academic standing.
  • Ability to work with and assist other students taking the MPRE.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
