Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit and Collections Senior Manager to join our team at Systems. As a key member of our Finance group, you will be responsible for facilitating payment, analyzing new and existing accounts, and mitigating risk for assigned domestic dealer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate payment and analyze new and existing accounts to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risk.
  • Work with international accounts, focusing on larger accounts, and manage the process from start to finish for letters of credit and setting up new accounts.
  • Provide backup support to the team and direct work for basic, lower-level accounts, reviewing contracts, AIA billing, certificates of insurance, waivers, and liens.
  • Review and approve open orders within the given portfolio for higher-risk accounts.
  • Assist with subscription billing processes and monitor accounts, communicating issues and recommending adjustments in payment terms or credit limits.
  • Recommend accounts for escalated collection activity and work with outside collection agencies or other third parties.
  • Provide direction and guidance for the cash app and collection team.
  • Coordinate with sales, customer service, warranty, and billing to resolve issues as needed.
  • Provide cross-functional support to senior management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining team members.
  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback, and facilitating employee development.
  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to the team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and regular interpersonal communications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of credit or related experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • General understanding of credit business law
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Business acumen
