Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery - CyHawk Hospitality Inc. in Waterloo. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, pantry, and service stations.
  • Restock supplies, including glasses, tea, ice, and plates, and refill condiments as needed.
  • Assist with side work, such as rolling silverware, restocking cleaning supplies, and bussing tables.
  • Communicate effectively with the Manager on Duty and coworkers to ensure seamless service.
  • Process orders and operate POS equipment according to company policies.
  • Anticipate and correct system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
