Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological disorders, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a pediatric or neuroscience setting.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric neuroscience nursing principles and practices.
