Advanced Practice Provider Specialty Hospitalist

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team as a Hospitalist in our Specialty Hospitalist program. As an APP, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the hospital setting.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law and hospital policy.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate from an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program.
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, etc.).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
