About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Same Day Surgery Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide efficient and effective care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians to promote patient recovery and comfort.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
  • Nursing diploma or associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
