Overview

We are seeking a skilled Same Day Surgery Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment.
  • Collaborate with surgeons to provide expert care during operative procedures.
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
  • Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly valued.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
