Staff Nurse

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in San Jose, California.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. As a Staff Nurse II, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status
- Formulate and implement a goal-directed plan of care, prioritizing patient needs and available resources
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring effective communication and seamless transitions
- Participate in unit and department performance improvement activities, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and skills, participating in ongoing education and training
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Current RN licensure in California
- At least one year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery or completion of a KP Labor & Delivery Training Program within the past 12 months
- Ability to navigate electronic medical records and telecommunication modalities
