Our Senior & Residential Care Program is seeking a Geriatric Physician to deliver primary medical services to Senior Care clients across various facilities and locations in the Yakima Valley.
You will collaborate with our team of proficient medical professionals to ensure high-quality clinical care and safety for our patients, along with participating in the on-call rotation.
Moreover, you will have the distinct opportunity to train facility staff, Medical Students, and Resident Physicians from our Central Washington Family Medicine Residency Program.
Our committed team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), and Behavioral Health Professionals provide care exclusively in nursing facilities, managing patients with multiple chronic conditions and those needing rehabilitation services.
This role actively seeks to identify opportunities to enhance the patient and family care experience while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of available resources.
A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) is required.Completion of graduate medical education and certification in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of added qualification in Geriatrics and/or AMDA certification or Geriatric training is preferred.
If the above educational qualifications are not met, the physician must demonstrate relevant experience leading to competency in caring for Geriatric and other high-needs, chronically ill, and/or disabled patients.
Travel between various sites is necessary. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is advantageous. Applicants requiring work visa sponsorship will be considered.
