As a Senior Quality Compliance Manager for Liquid Products NA, you will be responsible for implementing new standardization initiatives and completing FSQR improvement projects. You will coordinate GSF LPNA Quality, Food Safety, and regulatory compliance activities to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliances, and customer satisfaction at the Divisional level.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate FSQR programs standardization initiatives and improvement projects for all LPNA facilities.
- Conduct food safety and quality audits, including sanitation audits at the Liquid Products NA facilities to ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and company policies requirements.
- Support the implementation of new or updated Divisional and Corporate level Food Safety and Quality policies and programs in LPNA facilities.
- Collaborate with Plant Quality Systems Managers to continually improve existing Food Safety & Quality programs.
- Provide support for troubleshooting Food Safety and Quality related incidents and for identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Serve as Technical Liaison (Quality and Food Safety expert) to Plant Quality Systems, Operations, and Product Development.
- Provide guidance and direction to the LPNA facilities on how to improve Quality Plans focused on defects prevention.
- Participate in management and technical team meetings to present food safety and quality-related information and to enhance company-wide communication and teamwork.
Education and experience equivalent to:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, food microbiology, biology, or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Master's Degree in food science, food microbiology preferred.
- 10 years of relevant food safety & quality programs management work experience in an FDA regulated environment.
- Food Safety Plans/Quality programs, GMP's, and Food Safety regulations.
- FSMA/FDA Regulations.
- Manufacturing concepts and techniques.
- CIP sanitation programs.
- Food safety and Quality audit concepts and techniques.
- Food processing concepts and techniques.
- Product recovery systems.
- PC word processing/spreadsheet software.
- Presentation Software (PowerPoint).
- Statistical Process Control and Continuous Improvement tools.
- Persuasion/Influential Skills.
- Attention to details.
- Strength of conviction.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent organizational skills including time management and ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong ability to evaluate processes and lead change.
- Interpret food safety and quality problems and anomalies and identify appropriate solutions.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing.
- Prepare a variety of comprehensive administrative and technical documents and reports.
- Read and process written information with a high degree of accuracy.
- Train employees in Risk Based Preventive Controls and sanitation processes.
- Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality/food safety and customer service.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Travel via airplane and drive an automobile.
