Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist to join our team at Hennepin Healthcare. Our division provides comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies, offering inpatient and outpatient consultative services to obstetric generalists, advanced practice providers, and family medicine physicians.
Our team performs approximately 5,000 obstetric ultrasounds annually and includes genetic counselors who see over 1,000 patients per year. This position will join an experienced MFM specialist, providing opportunities for collaboration and professional growth.
About Our OB/Gyn DepartmentOur OB/Gyn department handles approximately 1,800 deliveries each year, offering full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care for various conditions, including high-risk pregnancy, prenatal diagnosis, genetic counseling, endometriosis, fibroids, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. We provide access to doula care, pelvic floor physical therapy, lactation support, integrative health services, and minimally invasive procedures within our clinic and hospital system.
We are committed to improving maternal health outcomes and reducing maternal mortality. Our department recognizes the critical impact of mental health on new parents and families, collaborating with psychiatry providers in our clinic and the Mother-Baby program as part of the Redleaf Center for Family Healing.

This part-time or full-time position offers excellent benefits, qualifying employer status for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, and a weekday schedule with no call required. As a University of Minnesota teaching affiliate, mentoring medical students, OB/GYN residents, and MFM fellows is an integral component of this role.
MFM physicians at any stage of their career are encouraged to apply.Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess an MD, DO, or MBBS degree, completion of an OB/GYN residency and MFM fellowship, and board certification or eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. If board eligible, certification must be obtained within 4 years of training completion.
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and a shared commitment to health equity and caring for a diverse population of patients are preferred qualifications.
