Job Description:


A Mechanical Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the assembly of component parts or pieces, following a defined set of blueprints or schematics.

This position involves verifying the accurate quantities of component parts, conducting quality checks on finished items, managing parts inventory, and utilizing hand tools and mechanical equipment to ensure the structural integrity of products and assemblies.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble small components and parts
2. Perform welding and soldering tasks
3. Interpret technical instructions and engineering blueprints
4. Assess the quality of materials and components used in production
5. Maintain an inventory of parts and tools utilized in the assembly process
6. Adhere to company policies and procedures
7. Conduct tests on finished products to identify defects
8. Maintain and care for tools used in the assembly process
9. Ensure a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED
2. Experience in aerospace manufacturing
3. Proficiency in welding techniques
4. Background in assembly work
5. Previous experience in medical device assembly is preferred
6. Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation
7. Basic computer literacy
