Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing. As a CVOR Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of cardiovascular operating rooms.
Job Summary:The CVOR Technologist will be responsible for preparing operating rooms for procedures, maintaining equipment, and assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgeries. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Prepare operating rooms for procedures, including setting up equipment and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
- Maintain equipment and instruments in good working order, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgeries, including passing instruments and providing support as needed.
- Participate in departmental on-call schedule, providing coverage as required.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
- Current CPR provider card.
- Must have a minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population.
- Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed.
- CABG and cardiac procedures.
