Job Description & Requirements

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility.

  • Specialty: CVOR Technologist

  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 10 hours, days

As a CVOR Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the cardiovascular operating room. Your duties will include:

  • Preparing patients for surgery
  • Assisting surgeons during procedures
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs
  • Providing emotional support to patients and families

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting
  • Current CPR provider card
  • Minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population
  • Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed
