Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graduate Medical Education Manager to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our GME Office, you will be responsible for providing direction and supervision to GME support staff, developing Standard Operating Procedures, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and direction to GME support staff, including residency program coordinators, student coordinators, and New Innovations coordinators.
  • Develop and implement office policies consistent with accreditation standards and Florida Hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Director in accreditation compliance by acting as a resource to program directors, program coordinators, faculty, residents, and fellows.
  • Collaborate with the Director and DIO to ensure the effective daily operations of all services within GME.
  • Work with the Director and DIO to develop and implement a broad interdisciplinary program of orientation for new residents and fellows.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Adult Education, or a related field.
  • Four years' experience in a Graduate Medical Education setting, with a focus on human resources and management.
  • Strong organization skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple customers needing attention simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Adult Education, or a related field.
  • Six years' experience in Graduate Medical Education in a leadership role, with a focus on human resources and management.
  • Experience with budget management and development, as well as experience with legal contracts.
