Job Summary

The Food Runner is primarily responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' seats rapidly and accurately. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness of the expo line, organizing order tickets, and communicating effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

  • Service food and/or beverages, deliver and clear any food and/or beverage items
  • Check the station before, during, and after the shift for proper setup and cleanliness
  • Retrieve orders from the kitchen, confirm their accuracy, and deliver them to guests
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies regarding serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality and/or casual dining restaurants
  • Able to multitask
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb, or work in confined spaces
  • Customer service-focused and solution-oriented
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
  • Food handler's card may be required according to local and/or state regulations
