Community Rehabilitation Hospital South is a leading provider of comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist, acquire pertinent information and implement comprehensive treatment programs using varied techniques and activities.
- Assist patients in preparing for treatment and modalities as necessary.
- Provide treatment to diverse diagnostic populations and complete supporting documentation according to hospital policy and state practice act.
- Communicate and collaborate with support personnel regarding treatment orders as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed Physical Therapist, and progress patients in an appropriate manner when deemed necessary.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Previous experience in patient care is preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
