We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physician educator to join our team of doctors, advanced care providers, nurses, therapists, and researchers. Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality, evidence-based care that addresses their unique needs and improves their health outcomes.
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of South Alabama Whiddon College of Medicine has an opening for Emergency Medicine faculty to work in one or more of our emergency departments. This includes the USA Health University Hospital, the USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department, or our Freestanding Emergency Department, all within the city of Mobile.
As a qualified candidate, you should be certified in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Additional fellowship training or academic experience is a plus. For work at our Freestanding ED, candidates with Family Medicine certification and substantial emergency department experience will be considered.
