The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama is recruiting a highly skilled Board-Certified Infectious Disease Physician to join our team. As a key member of our practice, you will support initiatives to expand services, collaborate with the USA ID division, and participate in population and public health efforts.
This role offers opportunities for career advancement, academic promotions, and professional growth. You will work closely with five ID physicians, two advanced practice providers, and a Ryan White HIV program, driving innovation and excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities and Expectations:- Participate in promoting the division's clinical care, research, and continuing medical education through various programs.
- Conduct clinical service responsibilities, including inpatient and outpatient ID care, and involvement with community Federally Qualified Health Centers.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and other healthcare providers, fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
- Evidence scholarly activities, such as publications and research initiatives, contributing to the division's growth and expertise.
