Nurse Manager Job Description

At Three Pillars Senior Living Communities, we are seeking a skilled RN Nurse Manager to join our team. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and evaluating nursing care for our residents, including those in Masonic Center for Health and Rehabilitation. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest quality of care and services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and timely charts/records as required by regulations and facility policies.
  • Complete or assign completion of nursing care, performing all duties of a staff RN when necessary.
  • Report or coordinate reporting changes in patient's conditions and needs to physician and Director of Nursing.
  • Assist with follow up of all doctor rounds.
  • Assist and delegate with nursing participation in care plan family sessions.
  • Accept department on-call responsibilities.
  • Identify, propose, and coordinate specialized clinical programs per facility need or as delegated by DON.
  • Assist in the hiring and orientation of nursing staff.
  • Assign duties to, train, develop, coach and supervise Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Must have valid CPR certification.
  • Previous geriatric experience and two or more years supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Ability to direct, instruct and supervise licensed and other nursing personnel.
  • Knowledge of OBRA, state and federal regulations as applied to long term care.
