At Select Specialty Hospitals, a part of Select Medical, we specialize in the care of patients who are chronically and critically ill or have recently transitioned from intensive care. Our organization employs over 48,000 individuals nationwide, delivering exceptional care to approximately 70,000 patients daily across our various divisions.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will oversee all elements related to the upkeep of the facility and surrounding grounds, ensuring the provision of essential utilities, managing restoration and renovation projects, and overseeing new construction initiatives.
- Directing and supervising all administrative and technical functions within the department.
- Developing, evaluating, and managing both personal and team activities within the department.
- Actively engaging in all hospital committees that influence this department, with a particular focus on Safety and Infection Control Committees.
- Establishing and upholding a Quality Control Program.
- Ensuring compliance with Environment of Care and OSHA standards in alignment with current federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in maintenance, environmental services, and related fields within a hospital setting.
- A college degree is required.
- Familiarity with JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A college degree in a field related to building construction and maintenance is preferred.
