Job Summary

Duke Regional Hospital - LotusTime is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper processing and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Process and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to AAMI ST79 standards
  • Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized
  • Maintain accurate records of instrument and equipment processing and sterilization
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless processing and sterilization of instruments and equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance processing and sterilization procedures
Requirements
  • CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification
  • SPM tracking and VPRO experience
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of travel experience
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Flu vaccines required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, Endoscope, and Spine experience
  • Certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, and CPI
