Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavior Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing specialized behavioral interventions using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Analyses (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs).
- Assist individuals in developing adaptive behaviors that replace or modify challenging behaviors.
- Develop and promote consistent implementation of Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) and Crisis Intervention Plans (CIPs).
- Provide coaching and assistance to Direct Support Professionals to implement interventions stated in the BSP.
- Maintain and update FBAs, BSPs, and CIPs as needed.
- Submit accurate and complete weekly online progress notes.
