Job Summary:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse II to join our team in Salinas, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of clinical registered nurse experience in a specialty area and possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced telehealth setting, working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and supervise individualized care in a patient care area according to departmental policies and procedures and Nurse Practice Act.">
- Collaborate with physicians, patient/families, and members of the health care team in delivering a plan of care.">
- Develop a plan of care based upon the assessment of patient, age appropriate and developmental needs of the patient.">
- Provide, delegate, and coordinate the plan of care.">
- Initiate, manage, and participate in discharge planning.">
- Initiate, manage, and participate in patient/family teaching.">
- Demonstrate implementation skills in accordance with Policies and Procedures.">
- Evaluate and update patient's response to plan of care.">
- Maintain professional standards by participating in inservices, committees, and performance improvement activities, etc.">
- Facilitate physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual care of the patient.">
- Utilize positive communication skills to effect conflict resolution and team work.">
- Contribute to cost-effective patient care by monitoring use of time, equipment, and supplies.">
- Comply with safety policies and procedures in order to provide a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors.">
- Demonstrate necessary flexibility in regard to changes in Hospital or unit activities.">
- Act as preceptor and charge nurse as assigned.">
- Participate actively in achieving departmental goals.">
Requirements:

- Minimum of one (1) year Clinical Registered Nurse experience preferred in specialty areas.">
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Current California RN license - Required Current acls, BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards - Required">
- One year of Tele experience">
- Cardiac drip experience required. Ventilator experience preferred but not required.">
- Ability to titrate cardiac drips (Insulin, Dopamine, Dobumatine, Nitro, Cardizen and Amiodarone)">
- Ability to read cardiac strips/EKGs">
- Flexibility to meet unit needs">
