Community Banker

The Community Banker (Teller) is a key member of our Retail Banking Center team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless banking experience for our clients. This role requires a strong focus on sales and customer relationship-building, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Customer Service: Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to sell and cross-sell bank products and services to customers, building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash and maintain accurate records, ensuring that all transactions are properly balanced and reconciled.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management, both in person and over the phone.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals, while maintaining a positive and supportive team environment.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved training program.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Sales skills a plus.

This position is set in a quiet, office environment. The position is generally regarded as light work, requiring the ability to stand, walk, sit, reach with arms, talk or hear, and use hands to write, type, and handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
