We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Community Banker to join our team at Provident Financial Holdings. As a key member of our Retail Banking Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and promoting our financial services to customers.

• Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Financial Services Promotion: Promote our financial services to customers, including deposit accounts, loans, and other products, to meet their financial needs and goals.
• Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, including counting and balancing cash drawers, and ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management, both in person and over the phone, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to sell and cross-sell our financial services to customers, building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Compliance: Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and bank policies, ensuring that all transactions are processed in accordance with established procedures.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved training program required.
• Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.

This position is set in a quiet, office environment. The position is generally regarded as light work, requiring the ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
