About the Role

MACOM is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and launch of new products, ensuring they meet the company's quality and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Life Cycle Management: Develop and implement strategies for product life cycle management, ensuring products meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Quality, Cost, and Yield Improvement: Identify and drive cost reductions, manage test house qualifications, and improve yield.
  • Test Development and Characterization: Develop production and characterization test specifications, and create product documentation.
  • Product Development Support: Provide support to design, test, application, and quality engineering teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in product development, with a strong understanding of mixed-signal products and high-volume production.
  • Significant experience in problem isolation, test issue resolution, and yield enhancement.
  • Knowledge of bench instruments and lab equipment for troubleshooting.
  • Statistical methods and tools, product reliability, and qualification.
  • Project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
Desired Qualifications
  • Lab equipment knowledge, including VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Digital and Real-Time Oscilloscope, BERT, etc.
  • Understanding of hardware troubleshooting.
  • C++ programming experience.
