MACOM is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and launch of new products, ensuring they meet the company's quality and cost standards.
Key Responsibilities- Product Life Cycle Management: Develop and implement strategies for product life cycle management, ensuring products meet customer needs and company goals.
- Quality, Cost, and Yield Improvement: Identify and drive cost reductions, manage test house qualifications, and improve yield.
- Test Development and Characterization: Develop production and characterization test specifications, and create product documentation.
- Product Development Support: Provide support to design, test, application, and quality engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in product development, with a strong understanding of mixed-signal products and high-volume production.
- Significant experience in problem isolation, test issue resolution, and yield enhancement.
- Knowledge of bench instruments and lab equipment for troubleshooting.
- Statistical methods and tools, product reliability, and qualification.
- Project management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Lab equipment knowledge, including VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Digital and Real-Time Oscilloscope, BERT, etc.
- Understanding of hardware troubleshooting.
- C++ programming experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work closely with other functional groups.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and changing priorities.
- Multi-tasking and coordination skills.
