Simulation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Specialist to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Simulation Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and administering simulation technology and sessions used in our Virtual Education and Simulation (VEST) Center.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the use of simulation for education, performance improvement, research, and equipment evaluation
- Maintain and update simulation center's database to include student and facilitator participation
- Develop simulation scenarios with department management, coordinators, educators, and healthcare providers to meet educational needs
- Manage and direct simulation activities, collecting data on effectiveness and student satisfaction
- Collaborate with Simulation Technical Assistant, Simulation Technology Specialist, and coordinators to program patient care simulators, prepare scenario props, and create scenario moulage
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
- RN or allied healthcare degree preferred
- ACLS certification strongly preferred
- Experience as an ACLS instructor strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience as a healthcare professional required
- Experience working in a simulation education environment preferred
- Experience with operating patient simulation equipment preferred
