About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Specialist to join our team at ChristianaCare. As a Simulation Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and administering simulation technology and sessions used in our Virtual Education and Simulation (VEST) Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the use of simulation for education, performance improvement, research, and equipment evaluation
  • Maintain and update simulation center's database to include student and facilitator participation
  • Develop simulation scenarios with department management, coordinators, educators, and healthcare providers to meet educational needs
  • Manage and direct simulation activities, collecting data on effectiveness and student satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Simulation Technical Assistant, Simulation Technology Specialist, and coordinators to program patient care simulators, prepare scenario props, and create scenario moulage
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
  • RN or allied healthcare degree preferred
  • ACLS certification strongly preferred
  • Experience as an ACLS instructor strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience as a healthcare professional required
  • Experience working in a simulation education environment preferred
  • Experience with operating patient simulation equipment preferred
