Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Area Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of our home-based behavioral health locations in Rocky Hill, Norwalk, and Danbury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of assigned agencies within the region, providing leadership and mentoring to site managers to maintain profitability and quality patient care.
  • Participation in and facilitation of QAPI planning and processes, reporting, and improvement action plans in assigned agencies.
  • Financial performance management of assigned agencies, including performance to budget, review of weekly metrics, billing reports, staff productivity, and week-over-week growth.
  • Reporting to direct supervisors on operational, financial, risk management, compliance, staffing, business development, and patient care issues.
  • Assistance in identifying and implementing business development opportunities in assigned agencies, including agency participation in community awareness, education, and service-oriented projects.
  • Closely working with Executive Directors to drive a vision of appropriate growth by focusing every team member on the needs and expectations of the referral community and patients.
  • Review and approval of personnel decisions, including terminations, suspensions, new hires, and grievances, with Human Resources guidance.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing and staff education and evaluations in assigned agencies.
  • Maintenance of quality patient scores according to company guidelines.
  • Liaison between business contacts and/or Home Office Departments regarding assigned agencies' fiscal, operational, and quality performance.
  • Compliance with all regulations, laws, policies, and procedures applicable to assigned agencies.
Requirements
  • Current licensure to practice in the state of employment or a college graduate with a Bachelor's degree (Education and licensure must comply with state regulations).
  • RN Required.
  • MBA or MHA preferred.
  • 5 years' experience in direct financial and employee management of a healthcare facility or multi-site healthcare facilities.
  • P&L and budget process experience.
  • Proven financial management ability.
  • Proven census growth achievement.
Skills
  • Able to develop and implement strategies for agency improvement.
  • Ability to understand and guide staff on operational metrics' impact on financial performance.
  • Able to multitask and be a creative problem solver.
