About the Role

PCSI is seeking a skilled Maintenance Trades Assistant to join our team at NavSea in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing minor adjustments and repairs to various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and waste management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting mechanical rooms, changing filters, and replacing light bulbs.
  • Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to building systems, including electrical receptacles, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC equipment.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance functions, including inspecting and replacing screens and glass, and performing sign maintenance.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior facility maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work independently.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools required for installation, maintenance, and repair.
