Key Responsibilities:

  • Bakery Operations: Manage the production schedule to ensure timely and efficient baking, frying, and packaging of bakery products.
  • Product Presentation: Properly fill, rotate, and merchandise bakery shelves, cases, and displays to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking bakery products, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of bakery products, adhering to company standards and food safety guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: One year of retail or production baking experience, with a focus on quality control and food safety.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents and instructions, as well as communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with regular standing and walking required.

Working Conditions:

The Bakery Specialist will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to refrigerated and freezer coolers. The noise level is usually low to moderate.
